Michael is a senior member of DaHui’s Corporate/M&A, Compliance and Dispute Resolution practice groups. He has more than a decade of experience advising clients on corporate matters, M&A transactions, compliance and dispute resolution matters. He has extensive experience structuring complicated cross-border investments within the TMT industry. He also has advised clients in other regulated industries in China, including publishing, education, life sciences, aviation, mining, and real estate.
Michael also represents clients involved in crisis situations that sometimes require coordinated cross-border government relations strategies in connection with government investigations, IP theft and licensing disputes, employee scandals, accounting fraud allegations, Chinese regulatory issues, and potential public scandals.
As part of his corporate practice, Michael also regularly advises founders, early stage companies, venture capital funds and private equity investors on issues ranging from cross-border corporate structuring, intellectual property management, financing and investor rights, key employee agreements, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
