TMT Lawyers – Mid-Level

Job Description

We are looking for lawyers to join our TMT teams as mid-level associates in Beijing, Shanghai, and Wuhan.

Mid-level TMT associates play an integral and indispensable role in DaHui Lawyer’s TMT teams, highly renowned for their representation of international and domestic clients in complex regulatory and transactional matters in this ever more burgeoning industry. TMT associates constitute a crucial part of our provision of legal services, at the highest international standards, including the following:

  • Advising on, negotiating and drafting and commenting on legal instruments for structuring and establishing corporate entities, joint ventures or strategic alliances for entering or expanding in the TMT market in China or abroad
  • Advising on and assisting with obtaining permits, licenses and other government approvals for operating in the Chinese TMT market
  • Advising on TMT commercial transactions in China, abroad and across borders and drafting, negotiating and commenting on related commercial contracts
  • Analyzing, advising on and assisting with TMT regulatory and compliance matters
  • Advising on, negotiating and drafting and commenting on legal instruments for TMT mergers and acquisitions and investments and financing transactions, covering deal terms, due diligence, transaction documents and closing procedures
  • Assisting with general TMT corporate matters

Basic requirements include:

  • One or preferably two law degrees from Chinese and/or international law schools
  • More than 2 years’ experience in the TMT industry, either at a firm or in-house
  • Working proficiency in written and oral English
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, high level of professionalism, ability to learn quickly, drive to take on challenges and a team spirit
