New Partner Dongjing Zhang Joins DaHui’s Wuhan Office as Executive Director

In 2023, DaHui opened our hub in Wuhan, the gateway to the heart of China. As our team and caseload there continue to grow, we are excited to announce the addition of our newest partner, Ms. Dongjing Zhang, and her team to our office there. As the executive director of DaHui Wuhan, Dongjing will lead the team together with managing partner Edward Lu as we serve local, national, and global clients together with DaHui lawyers from our offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and New York.

Dongjing has been practicing law for more than 22 years, and her practice focuses on real estate and construction projects, enterprise restructuring, corporate mergers and acquisitions, property rights transactions, litigation and arbitration, and more. She is particularly deft at handling complex and difficult legal affairs involving various government departments, and her work in the legal world has greatly impacted the physical landscape and development of Hubei Province.

Widely recognized both domestically and internationally, Dongjing is the vice president of the Hubei Lawyers Association, a representative of the 15th Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, a member of the 16th Wuhan Jianghan District CPPCC, deputy director of the Proposal Committee, a member of the 10th National Lawyers Association Lawyers Industry Rules Committee, a civil and administrative case consulting expert of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and a member of the Wuhan Arbitration Commission. She has also won awards from international journals such as the "2022 ALB Annual China South China and Central China Female Lawyer Award" and "The A-List Legal Elite: 2023 China Business Insight Leader" of Business Law.
