New Partner Kenny Yu Joins DaHui’s Growing Team

Kenny Yu, Partner, Corporate/M&A Team – Shanghai Office

DaHui is once again excited to welcome a new partner to our Firm. Joining us from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Kenny Yu brings to our Shanghai office extensive experience advising global and regional private equity funds, venture funds, and other financial and strategic investors on cross-border M&A and investment transactions, including buyouts, growth equity investments, disposals, investments in private funds, and joint ventures.

The IFLR1000 Asia-Pacific has recognized Kenny as a “Rising Star” for private equity, and The Legal 500 noted that clients have referred to him as an “outstanding bilingual commercial/deal lawyer” who “stands out of the crowd”. Kenny earned his LL.B. from the University of Auckland and his PCLL with distinction from the City University of Hong Kong. Before joining DaHui, Kenny worked for over a decade in the Hong Kong, London, Beijing, and Shanghai offices of leading international law firms.

With his impressive track record in complex corporate transactions, Kenny’s entry into our Firm will significantly bolster our cross-border capabilities.
