Kenny Yu

Kenny Yu is a Partner in DaHui Lawyers’ Corporate/M&A practice group. Kenny focuses on advising global and regional private equity funds and other financial and strategic investors in competitive and proprietary buyouts, divestitures, joint ventures, growth equity investments, PIPE transactions as well as investments in private funds.

Kenny was awarded “Rising Star” in Private Equity (including Venture Capital) at Euromoney’s Rising Stars Awards Asia-Pacific 2022 and “Rising Star of the Year” at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2021. The Legal 500 also noted that clients referred to him as an “outstanding bilingual commercial/deal lawyer” who “stands out of the crowd”. Kenny is recognized as a “Leading Lawyer – Rising Star” with IFLR1000 (Hong Kong) in private equity.

Before joining DaHui, Kenny worked for over a decade in the Hong Kong, London, Beijing and Shanghai offices of leading international law firms.
